I fly across the country from Minnesota to Palm Springs to get my spine adjusted by this amazing chiropractor. I call him my “primary” chiropractor which makes people smile. But you know how when you find someone that is just that good – you go to them.
Dr. Edelburg or Dr. Buzz as everyone calls him from a nickname as a kid. He has worked with patients for more than 30 years, guided by a holistic philosophy that connects mind, body, and spirit – so when I walked into his clinic and saw that he had created a gallery inside of the clinic I was amazed.
He paints to balance his life. As I walked around the clinic/gallery I stopped in front of one painting. It drew me in and I was transported to walking in the woods on a beautiful sunny day. As I look at it I can almost feel like I could step into the painting and turn my face to the sun.
There was another painting of a raven with a sold sign on it. Another patient had walked by this one and was transformed to a memory with his family and he had to have the painting. So he bought it on the spot.
I walked through the Gallery to the adjusting room. I walked away feeling physically better, as aways. But this time I felt mentally better. Dr. Buzz paints for his own life balance but it brings new “mind-spirit” balance to all who walk through the Gallery.
